    Matching Set

I'm part of a pen swap on another forum, but since my swap partner doesn't come here, I figured I can post( but Dick has to keep it a secret).

The left is new to me. It's a pen light done in chrome. The cigar pen has satin gold hardware. Both are wrapped in " Chilli Pepper' AA but the red and green look Christmassy.

(Sorry about the picture-my light tent broke and I made do on the kitchen table)

Yep, it looks Christmassy to me too! I like them! Well done.

My lathe has been packed up, and suddenly in the last month I have had requests from a dozen people for a special made pen (for them). It will be at least March or April at the earliest before I can start this up again. I haven't turned one since spring, and I do miss it.

I will get back to the other forum in Nov/Dec. My time is still not my own at the moment (nor has it been for the last 5 months) and what few minutes a day that I have, I spend it here.

It is a welcome relief to be able to hit the web and visit online a few minutes a day. But come Christmas, I will have much more time - for a while at least.

Thanks for letting us see them.

They definitely look Christmassy. Nice work. A turned pen light...what a great idea.

Great looking set Richard. Your partner is going to like that and your secret is safe with me.

Thank you for the kind words. I sent the set off today along with a few blanks.

BTW: The pen light takes two AAA batteries. I bought it through William Wood-write.

Very nice, love the colors! Where did you find those blanks? The only Chilli Pepper I find online look quite different in color.

                Thanks
