    An Experiment

I got some Canadian money blanks in a trade with mywoodshopca at IAP and wanted to see what effect colored tubes would have.
I used Sierra EBs so I could get two pens out of one blank. The chrome pen was done with a white tube and the copper one with a black tube. Both were wet sanded through 12000, Hut plastic polish and a coat of Ice.

I think the chrome pen is great, not so sure about the colour combo of the copper one, though. Beautifully made, as usual.

Thanks for posting, I have done one Money blank and forgot to paint the tube, can see the tube easily. I like the one with the dark tube make the money stand out better. I have a couple of copper kit, been trying to decide what blank to use. Both are nice looking pens.

I've used some black Ti tubes for money blanks with good results.
