A person that I know in Oakville, Ontario has been running a program for the last six years that gifts hand made pens to Canadian soldiers serving over seas. The project is called Pens For Canadian Peacekeepers . Along with the pen, the turner also writes the soldier a letter thanking them for their commitment. There is a drive on a pen turning forum to produce as many pens as we can( one per member ) by the end of this month. This is my submission. Thanks for looking and please browse the site. I suggest you look at the photo abum- especially toward the bottom of the photo page ( http://www.pensforcanadianpeacekeepers.ca/ )
