    My Desk Set

I decided that it was about time to make something for myself so I turned this set today. The pen is a Jr Emperor and the blanks are Black with Gold Web Tru-Stone. Wet sanded through 12000, Hut plastic polish and a coat of Turtle Wax Ice.

That's really good looking. Looks a lot like real stone.

Does it have a good weight to it, like a stone would too?

Wow, you did a great job Dick!

Makes me think I should try turning and see what happens. Anyway, that's a really great looking set to say the least.

Very nice Dick, they look like they deserve a very special desk. Do you have one or is that still on the project list?

Wow. I put a lathe in my container shipment--but it's for a friend. Now I wish I'd gotten one for myself, too.
