Yesterday I cut and drilled some blanks from that mahogany I braged about.
I went out today and put a blank on the mandrel and started turning, I sanded and finished it. I started to assemble the pen and realized that I hadn't glued the tubes in and sized it. I hate to waste wood so I glued the tubes in and carefully sanded the finised blanks to length. Back on the lathe I again sanded to get the fit at the bushings. I refinished and assembled it.

I figured that this was not going to be a good turning day so I installed my new Wolverine jig. Nice, Nice Nice.
