    Maple Goblet (that drove me crazy)

    Here is that goblet made from Hard Maple I was whining about It is 7" tall and about 2 3/4" wide at it's widest point. (Sorry 'bout the pictures, I really need to set something up, when I get time of course)

      Great looking piece. It looks as though your trials and tribulations were worth it in the long run. And I bet you learned some stuff to boot!

                          Yes I did learn quite a bit Ken. (Mostly that I have a lot to learn).

                          I have nine more blocks of that maple stashed away, a little leary of the next project with it. It sure does finish up nice though.

                          Making a few pens for presents, will post pics if I have time before I leave for Michigan.

                              thats beautiful,are you going to mae a matching pair?
                              is it possible to use for red wine and not stain?
                              i made one of cedar but didnt use(have) any finish at the time.
                              didnt look nearly as nice,i rushed through it
