          Is that the motor sitting outside of it? If so it doesn't look like that large of a motor.

                Whenever someone talks about a big wood lathe I think of the one at Mystic Seaport in Mystic Connecticut. If I remember correctly it will turn a 3 foot tree a 100 feet long into a mast or spar for a wooden sailing ship. A bit hard to fit that into your garage shop.

                  I think that motor is like the scoring blade on monster TSs. Based on the size of the cabinet there's either a 5hp or less likely but more funny a V8 motor inside.
