    My First Pens

Please be gentle with me guys

The left is osage orange and the other is bubinga. Both came from slimline kits. They are finished with blo/ca and micro sanded. My close photography sucks as they look a lot shinier in real life.

Nice job, Richard. I've always liked Osage Orange for pens. Try one with a black titanium kit... Did you know OO glows under black light?

One other thing... Keep your first pens, rather than giving them away. If you go deep into the hobby, you'll always wish you still had them.

If I remember correctly, the lathe was a gift from your wife (and the kits too?). I think she can claim all the pens that come from that lathe

They look very nice, obviously you have a talent for turning!

Don't be giving her any ideas Turaj. I have LOML convinced that she can only use about 40 or 50 pens.
