    Playing Around

I have never bothered painting my pen tubes so I thought I would give it a try. The acrylic blank is an unknown freebe from Exotic Blanks. I cut it in half and made two Sierra EBs. The pen on the left got a white tube and the one on the right a black tube. The one on the left also got a white segment to hide an aggressive cut at the wrong time.
I didn't believe that painting the tubes could make such a difference.

I've never painted tubes either but it's clear that it does make a difference. Had you not told us that this was the same blank, I may have not known just from the picture.

BTW, nice pens Dick as usual.
