    May I Present

My first closed end pen. The kit is a Jr Gent II and the blank is Golden Dawn from Exotic Blanks.

Nice lookin' frog-knocker, Dick! Did you use one of those nifty closed-end expansion mandrels that Bill at Arizona Silhouette sells?

Very Nice. I am beginning to like closed ends better because to me, they look less "kit like" and more "high end".

I am really getting to like the closed in pens also. That is a real classy pen you have there. Might as well get on the AS site I order a couple of closed end mandrels.

Very Nice. For those who don't have the AS mandrels for this- Penturners.org has a tutorial on how to make your own mandrel. Basically, it's a bolt turned down to a sive that it can be a tight fit inside the tube. I've already made one for the Cigar pens, and plan to make a couple more (you need one for each tube size).
