    3 Pens Today

    I turned these 3 pens today for a customer.
    They are turned from a section of an old Boston Whaler mahogany seat and finished with Behlen's. The hardware is satin nickel from Woodcraft, the box is walnut and is also from Woodcraft.

      I like the contrast in the second one the best.

          All three were turned from wood cut from the same board and finished the same way.
          I am still amazed that three look alike blanks cut from inches of each other can finish so differently.
