    My First Pens and Pencils

The black set is the first set I did. The silver was the second.

Yeah, I was right, this is fun.

Welcome to the addiction, no you will never rest easy again, surely you'll decide as I did that it was a great idea to make sets for everyone for Christmas. My advice, just start working on that now....

      The look great, what wood?

It's 3am... I just came in from the shop... It's 3am... Cutting some persimmon blanks for some golf-themed pens to share with my golfing buddies... Did I mention it's 3am? Now you see what's in store for you...

FIL has a birthday coming up. SWMBO already wants me to make a pen/pencil set for him.

            Those were made from Rosewood.

When I started, I was surprised at how much difference to the overall appearance the kit made. Your two sets show this very well, yet not everyone considers the wood/kit color combination beforehand.

Great-looking pens - and a novel way of displaying them. Well done!

              Ray.

Good advice... You learn quick to consider this, or set yourself about putting together a set of disassembly tools...

Nice workmanship and an interesting stock selection. Fortunately I listen to those that tell of addiction. So, I haven't tried it...yet.
