That is a neat looking pen. LOML like the Purple Passion and the Purples from CSUSA, she grabs them every time I make one. May have to try a Zen. I am reall starting to like the Black Ti plating it goes well with many different blanks.
Looks good, Dick. Just a quick heads-up about the Zen... It makes a better desk pen than a carry pen. This is because over time, it tends to get where the cap comes off in your pocket. It's a common problem with many loose-cap designs, and even happens to some of the threaded-cap pens.
VERY good looking pen and exceptional photo! I am about to post a pen photo but your has intimidated me!

I have been photographing since about 1950 and have just recently relearned some of the basics that I had forgotten.
I use a Nikon D70 DSLR with an 18 to 70 mm zoom lens, most any digital camera will give the same results.
I use an inexpensive light tent which cans also be home made. Lighting is with 3 27 watt photo correct fluorescent bulbs in 8 1/2" reflectors.
Set the camera on manual, frame your shot, take your meter reading on a photo grey card and set the exposure (I try to keep the Fstop at F18) , remove the grey card and shoot.
I do run the picture through Photo Shop to crop, re size and hit it with the unsharp mask and retouch if necessary.
You have a GREAT setup! I like it. I wish I could find some "photo correct" bulbs over here. I probably could but I just don't know what to ask for in Japanese.

Experience is what you get when you don't get what you wanted!

Look for any bulb that is rated at 5000K color temp.
