    Starting down the slippery slope...

...or at least standing on the brink. Today, The Big Brown Truck dropped off two packages from Penn State Industries containing a set of turning tools, a chuck and a Pen Making starter kit (without the lathe). The lathe I am buying on Saturday at Woodcraft - I decided on the Jet 1220VS.

    slippery slope

You'll like that lathe, Jet has some good equipment on the market. I have the Jet 1014 I...a good lathe especially with the bed extension makes it longer
    for spindle turning.
