    3 more Christmas presents finished

    Forgive the photography skills, glare makes it look like the crosses are not solid color but they are. All the pen kits are Jr. Statesman II kits from CUSA, the bottom one is a Rhodium/22k Gold Rollerball and the other two are Rhodium/Black Titanium Rollerballs. I purchased the blanks from a guy over on the IAP forums. The top one is called stained glass, the middle one is red swirl and the bottom one is ivory with bloodwood cross. I also tried out a trick a local pen turner showed me, after I've finished sanding the acrilic blanks I used a product called Scratch Out from autozone (less than $5 for a large bottle). It made a huge difference in the clarity of the finished pens.
