They are beautiful Mike. Love that Sierra style pen. I have done 3, acrylic poker in twotone, a warrior in Ironwood and a christian fish in ironwood, the other half of the warrior blank. I had to stop today and make some Delrin bushings to use when I finish the pens with CA, saves on the steel bushing. I also had to rearange the shop to accomadate all the pen making stuff I am collecting. Not bad with the AC 103 outside, 75.6 inside tomorrow 107, that will be the test, It is real smokey also but inside with the ac on who cares. Now when I am sent to dog house by LOML I have a nice place to go, I won't suffer in there.

All very nice. What did you use for the band on the slimline? It looks like a blue/white acrylic.

You Got it. It's a piece called Sea Spray from Wood Pen Pro. I'm making a half dozen similar to it for my daughter's friends. They had originally asked about a pen that had a purple and blue resin called Burple. but I wanted to give them more options. I think the blanks from him are a type of Celluloid, but I'm not an expert on them.

Right now, I have another half dozen blanks cut and drilled, but I need to paint the insides before gluing the tubes in as some of the resin blanks are too translucent for my taste. And I have another 4 of the Spalted Irish Birch and Beech to do.

Tom, I love the Sierra too. IT about the simplest kit you can work with. I'm fortunate that I have a complete set (Steel and Delrin) of bushings from Johnnycnc. I am lookinginto a place right now that has Delrin rod as well as UHMW rod to make some finishing bushings for other pens too. I'm wanting to start lacquer dipping.

As a side note, the same place also has Phenolic rod that may make some nice pens.

Beautiful pens, Mike. Love the look of that Spalted Irish Birch.
You deserve some shop time after the effort you made for the kit purchase. I haven't tried one yet, hopefully I can get some shop time this week.
