My new blank cutter.(G0513 17" 2 HP BS)Pics

I saw a Grizzly G0513 17" 2 speed 2 HP BS in the Swap N Sell on the Woodnet forums, and it was Local to me.

I went and looked at it the other morning and took some WET Green Walnut logs that I cut in 1/2 with my chain saw right before leaving to go look it over.

Cut them very nicely.

Came with the Mobile Base and 2 Timberwolf blades.

Seller was asking $550.00, I bought it for ~$450.00~

This should do well as my blank cutter.

Not sure if I will keep the Rigid BS with Riser or not though.

The BS actually sat posted for 6 hours before I picked up the phone and called the guy. He still had it. I was on the fence on weather to upgrade the motor on my Ridgid BS or not, I have the riser on it ,link belt, all the usual goodies added to it. But this seems to be a better option and for the price I paid it was hard to pass up. Seller was a young guy who decided woodworking needed to take a backseat for awhile with his young growing family and his 3rd child on the way, so it the BS has barely even been used. It has a manufacture date of 2006 on it.

Going to put it to Good use here as seen by these Walnut blanks I chainsawed and Anchor Sealed on Saturday.

NAAAAA, Native woods are easy to find locally, just listen for the sounds of a chainsaw. Now IF it was a Free trailer load of Austrailian BURLS, THAT would have been a stealth gloat.
