    Hello all my neighbor is a newbie to turning but does not have internet so he cant meet you on here,he is fresh to turning pens and was like a kid in acandy store today when he turned his first slim line. It came out reall y nice for a first . I have given him some blanks but I dont have a whole lot to give him,does some here want to help him out with some nice or not so nice stuff so he can fall into the vortex even more. If so let me know ill get his addy for you.

      go over and to the trading forum at www.penturners.org, I'll bet someone will hook him up nicely. There's a lot more info on pen turning over there too.

          You can always take pieces of scrap lumber and cut some. I do that sometimes.
