Opinions for Tools

I'm getting the itch to do some turning, I'm looking for some opinions for a decent starter lathe. I'm looking at the HF 14"x40" lathe with sander. the Inside Track Club price is about $80 and the HF chisel set, I've read some good reviews on the chisels. What should I look for in a lathe?

Look at the better HF lathe. 12x38 cast iron with base.

Opinions are like gas;
I don't mind hearing it, but keep it to yourself if it stinks.
