    Wormy Ambrosia Maple -- It's about 15-1/2 inches in diameter. The Finish is Deft Gloss Spray Lacquer over a bunch of CA..



    Cherry Burl - 11 inches in diameter. CA Stabilized Bark and Intrusions. Buffed Watco. I wish that I had gotten to this burl before the firewood gatherer butchered the burl -- but then on the other hand, I've got 1/2 of the burl on another blank

      Stunning! I don't know if I have ever seen a nicer piece than that ambrosia bowl. One in a million!

            Both pieces are beautiful, you did a really good job. I love the look of the burl bowls with open areas or natural edges. I'm waiting until I have a little more experience before I try one.
