    Pen Wood Samples

When someone sees one of my pens they always ask "What about a different kind of wood?".
I don't keep a sample of every pen I make and it's difficult to describe the difference between the woods that are available.
Today I started making a sample ring using the blank cut offs.
Nothing fancy but it uses up scraps and shows the wood.
It was also an excuse to try out my new Nova Midi Chuck.

What is that grey and black one on the upper left? I've not seen anything like that.

Mike, You are correct it is acrylic. Fun to work with for a change.
The key to the sample ring is, from left to right.
