    First "REAL" Turning

Well almost. This is the result of my 4 hr lesson with a local pro.
First he made one and then "I" made one.
He did the glue joint and the final cut for the 3/32" thick vessel walls.
We didn't want to screw it up by me blowing through it.
More to come when I get some green turns done.
BTW, Maple Burl, finished with spray laquer.

That is beautiful, Brian. Both the wood and the work!

Sweet! Looks like the lessons worked!
          Measure it with a micrometer...
          Mark it with a crayon...
Cut it with a chain saw!
