    An Alder Bowl

I've been asked to supply three prizes for a National Tree-Climbing Competition. After a bit of "playing about," this is the first one I'll probably put on the shortlist:

The bowl measures 300mm (11.75") diameter and is 77mm (3") high. The rim is 55mm (2.12") wide and the interior bowl is 51mm (2") deep. Finish is cellulose sanding sealer, followed by a couple of coats of wax.

    Ray.

Sweet simple design. Shows off the wood grain very nicely. Great finish too.

I don't mind hearing it, but keep it to yourself if it stinks.

All men dream, but not equally. Those who dream by night in the dusty recesses of their minds wake in the day to find that it was vanity: but the dreamers of the day are dangerous men, for they may act their dream with open eyes, to make it possible

Beautiful work Ray! Nice shape and it shows off the grain pattern well.
