    Chuck for Jet Mini?

Finally broke out the Jet Mini....wow..it is nice....and I can see how addictive this can be.

I need some help. I want to purchase a chuck for the lathe, but I am not sure what to look for. I have 2 in mind. 1) The Nova Precision Midi or the PSI Barracuda Chuck - (Which I know is contantly not in stock) or even a oneway Talon Key Chuck - but that is a bit pricey.

    Any Suggestions?

I run the Talon on my Jet mini. I think the other two that you mention are roughly the same size. If you think you can swing the extra money, the Talon is a real good proven chuck. If not then the PSI chuck and the Grizzly chuck (Vicmarc clone) get some decent reviews.

I have the Nova Precision Midi on mine. It seems like it was on sale for $99.00 at Woodcraft when I bought it.

I use the Nova Midi on my Jet and am very happy with it.

I agree with Doug, The Talon is a great chuck I got it to use with my Jet Mini and now use it on my Pm3520 Lathe.
