    Mysterious Magazine

I subscribe to a bunch of wood working magazines:

    WOOD
    Wood Worker's Journal
    Workbench
    Shop Notes

Last month there was a comparison between entry level lathes such as the Jet Mini, The Delta Midi, Penn State, Grizzley, Rikon, etc.

For some reason, that specific magazine has vanished into one of those black holes that occurs in your own living room. I am trying to figure out which magazine the article appeared in. Does anyone know?

I remember deciding the JET was the one for me, but I bought the Delta just yesterday because of a deal that was too good to pass on. Now I want to read closer about the Delta.

Thanks in advance for any help.

Don't know the answer, but FWIW it seems to me that the entry-level Rikon, Penn State and Wilton mini-lathes are all made at the same factory with minor cosmetic differences.

Thanks, I was aware of some being the same. I ended up buying the Delta LA-200 Midi Lathe. It was $229 after $50 rebate + a free bed extension making it 37" long. Great deal if you ask me. The Jet was my first choice, but for the value, the Delta wins.
