    1st Attempt Lidded Box

I learned to make a lidded box on the lathe today at a Woodcraft class. This is my first attempt at one. It took longer than I thought it would.

Ken, it is Charlie Stephan and he is very good. Also Al has been helping. John filled in one class for Al. I have one more class to go and we will be through. I have enjoyed it very much and have learned a lot.

Outstanding, I wished my first turned box was half as good (I'm hard headed... still haven't taken a turning class... and I really need to). But, be warned, now the madness begins... every piece of wood is a potential pen, box, candle holder, bowl, etc... welcome to the madness
