Lathe 101 on New Yankee Woodworker this Saturday

I don't know if the show plays the same schedule across the US, but this coming Saturday's episode is supposed to be Lathe 101. Thought some people might be interested.

What time does that show come on and what station (ABC, Fox or?) does it come on?

    Thanks,

    Dave

No, it was on the regular PBS stations. It was on 11/19/05 on KBTC Tacoma, Wa. Public Television. Nothing really special, he turned a baseball bat, and a leg for a table. He showed off 3 Delta lathes in the little shop of corporate freebies. So much for lathe 101.

I agree with you Hoover. I watched it and it looked more like a display of delta lathes than anything for newbies. I learned more from watching freebie dvd's from PSI on pen turning basics and the Robert Sorby woodturning tools advertising DVD's. Definately disappointing for a show.

Ditto-Nahm showed off Delta's lathe line and smoozed with a baseball player. I have prefer Dave Hout's show on DIY. The PSI pen turning DVD was very informative to me. Will have to try the Sorby advertising DVD's.
