I was accepted to the Pen Makers Guild

    Hello everyone,

Been doing nothing but turning for quite a while and I really like making & selling pens. A short time ago a new pen was introduced and I found a way to convert it into a pencil. At the urging of a friend of mine I submitted my work to be considered for admittance to the Pen Makers Guild. I actually made 6 potential entries and after casting a very critical light on all of them I found one that I thought may have a slim chance for acceptance.

On Wednesday I was checking my email and I found the invite to join and the acceptance email. I invite you all to look at the PMG gallery and see the caliber of work that these talented artists produce. (I'm still a hack but improving every day)

    Scott.

    P.S.

If you were the recipient of a "friendship set" It's value just doubled (along with the price of my pens)

Congratulations, Mudder. I know you gotta be getting a swelled head by now. The work those.....er...Y'all put out is spectacular.
Now I can turn a pen just as good as anyone on the planet. I turn it to the left, roll it around to the right. No problem. Now making my own, well lets just say that some begginers have me surpassed.
I do enjoy it. Thanks also for the link. I will be keeping my eye on your Gallery over there.

              Scott,

They are gorgeous. I think you have moved beyond mere technique to the artistic. Well done and well deserved.
