    Walker-Turner lathe

    Hi all you experts,

I have a Walker-Turner (or is it a Turner-Walker?) lathe. I is a floor model and runs on either 220v or 110v. It is cast iron with the motor inside the leg below the headstock.

Does anyone know of a manual for these lathes? It has a pin for the indexing head but without the necessary paperwork it doesn't mean a thing to me.

It is variable speed but (as I am not in the workshop) I can't say much about that or anything else.

Try Old Woodworking Machines at www.owwm.com if you don't get a response here, as they have a lot of information there on older machines.

I'm assuming that you have an old lathe there. I may be mistaken, but here's a link to what they have on Turner-Walker:

    Hope this helps,
