    BOC (Buffer On the Cheap)

I was so intrigued by the previous post of the paint roller buffer, I had to do one myself. The spigot jaws on the Oneway Talon expand into the plastic sleeve of the 1" nap roller perfectly. I milled down a piece of oak to hold the tailstock end and use the cup center in the tailstock. Haven't had the opportunity to "officially" use it. I ran by Woodcraft last night after my flight got cancelled and got my new motor and some tripoli, white diamond and carnuba wax. Had a few odd and end pieces of projects that could be experimented on, so I experimented. I have to say I really like the initial (but definitely not conclusive) results.

    Bill,

They didn't require you to return the problematic motor?

      Dave,

The Jet rep said if I wanted, I could drop the old motor off to Woodcraft and they'd pay the shipping back to Jet... but I wasn't required to and if it was him, he'd run the old motor till it quit and then install the new one (advice I'm taking)
