    A new little write up from me.

    Well today while just messing around in the shop and I was cleaning up quite a bit. Nothing that would make Rod proud but good for me. As I was cleaning around the back side of the Bandsaw I came across a piece of Cedar branch that I had cut off. It looked interesting so I decided to make a pen from it. I have received emails asking about my Slim line pens that I make so I decided it was time to refresh my pen making tutorial with kind of a supplement. This is more pointed to the newer turners but for those that enjoy my ramblings and are bored;

    This is the end results;

      Another great write-up. I was wondering about Deft and how pen turners applied it. Thanks for the pictures.

          That's a great looking pen and the tutorial was excellent.

          Your tip on dressing the tool rest is a good one. After you passed it on to me when you visited I did it and couldn't believe the difference.

            Ken,
            Beautiful pen and excellent write up.

            Gonna dress up my rest as there's a spot that's been driving me crazy. Don't know why it wasn't obvious to dress it. Oh well.

            Thanks,
            BobL.
