    Hard Maple Bowl

    This blank came from the same tree as the platter.
    I wish I would have gotten more of it I didnt see any curl until I finished this Piece, well the tree was at the burn pile and is long gone now, only ashes remains
    I hope the curl showes in the pics it is real tight.
    It measures 8 1/2" X 2 1/2" finish is deft and hand waxed.

      Looks good. Bet it hurts to think what else might have been in that maple that was burned.

        I really like them all! Each have thier own qualities that one can appriciate. Haven't tried either box elder or osage orange. Guess I will be pretty soon.
