Not all the bowls were done on the mini but most of them were and the few that weren't could have been. How ever as others here will tell you, it starts with a lathe (the cheap part) and requires investments in other tools, such as optional chucks, etc. I have found it takes patience, pratice and attention to detail, to turn out something that measures up to work like Kwgeorge's or many of the other folks on this forum for example. It took me a long time before I felt that the few things I've tried were worth showing. Quality tools also play a huge part in the final product as you skill increases. I haven't felt comfortable in trying to market any of my turnings, maybe some day. You could eat out of these if they have the right finish, but all these were finished with a poly-oil wipe on finish, probably not the best for eating on.
But I encourage you to give it a try, I have found it very rewarding and great fun and a real outlet for what ever creative bug you might have!
