    It's all Whalers fault!

    I had to try on of them funny shaped pens. Turns out, it feels pretty good in the hand I ended up making the top barrel a knats hair too thick so I'll keep this one. Curly maple and purple heart. It and the one next to it is a shot at bent laminations. More variations in the works.



    These are the others that jumped off the lathe. Only 79 more to go[]


    Two utilitarian bowls. The walnut rimmed one is 16 inches in diameter. I didn't tink my 12 inch lathe had it in it. The plain one is 11 inches. Both need lots more BLO. Seems they just can't get enough.




    The last piece is only about 8 inches and is the combined scraps of several segmented bowls. It was a challenge to hand fit some of those pieces
