    So sorry Armini - no lathe - just couldn't get excited about it.

    Seriously - I don't have the passion you guys have for wood turning. And the number of times it would be "useful" (to me) just don't justify the A$600 (STARTING!) price.

    BUT - I am about to start something NEW (for me) - I hope I don't get expelled from the forum!

    I'll be posting in the BT3/Coffee Pot sections...

        Actually not my first love either, I came by an old lathe and tools for nothing and started fooling around. I have only done a few small objects, largely to work up my skills to someday try a bedpost.

        The number of expensive doohickeys is quite bewildering.

        Still, Oz has all those fantastic hardwoods...
