      Very nice article Kenneth.

      Does that gizmo have reverse?

What is the actual motor RPM?

I envy your ability to do things like this yourself.

I hope it is everything you are looking for.

Scott, it has Forward/Reverse and you can also set the Acceleration/Deceleration times and so much more. I have only had a chance to turn one thing on it but this upgrade took almost all the vibration out of the lathe. I really like it a lot.

The motor is listed at 1800 but it’s more like 1750.

I don’t think you would mess up a process like this, I have faith in you!

Kenneth, I'll take that lathe back now. That was one of the things I wanted to do with the lathe but had neither the money nor the ambition to do it. I'm glad to see you got it done. Looks like you cleaned up the lathe too. It's looks alot shinier from when I had it.

Once again you wrote up a great article! That's a very good deal for the motor and controller. You make it all look so easy.

Yeah, I bought it Scott. I found a really good deal on it on the internet. Was like $40 but I have used it a bunch and it is very accurate so it works out well. I really like to know what my speeds are instead of guessing for some reason.

Sorry Dan [:P] I get more attached to the lathe with every little thing I do to it and yes it is cleaned, polished, waxed and hugged pretty regularly . I thought the motor was a great deal and I sure did not miss the eBay hassle. Over all it was extremely easy upgrade to say the least. Much less trouble then the Grizzly was for sure.
