    Aging Batteries...

I have two 4 ahr. One+ 18 volt battery packs from 03/09 & 04/09. They both take and hold a charge fine, sit on the shelf waiting their turn for use and work well in the drill r impact driver. Today, I was breaking down some 3/4" plywood with the cordless saw (blue & yellow style). and both batteries could just make it through an 8' cut. Guess this is their sign.

I'm pleased. the One+ lithium packs last far longer than the old NiCad packs. My first lithium One+ pack only lasted 13 years.

With only a couple of recent exception, I really glad that most of my cordless are under the Ridgid "LSA" program. I purchased them in 2005, and have replaced the NiCads only once. I've got three small Li-Ion 12-Volt batteries that never really worked well. I'm about to replace those.
