    Saved $50 Today

My 19 year old Craftsman tool triggered switch quit working suddenly. I was really dismayed as I paid $20 for it back then and the switch is no longer available and the current item is the i-Socket switch which is $50. So I opened up the old one and figured out the mode switch had failed. Since I never use the switch except in triggered mode, I just hardwired the faulty switch and we are back in business. Lucky me.

Are you going to use that reasoning with your wife - to go buy something?

I will when it finally fails for good. It worked when my 15 year old gas string trimmer would not start and I replaced it with a 40 volt electric one.
