    resawing very thin strips

Most of you probably heard of Alex Snodgrass. I use his method to set up my BS all the time. Today I had to resaw about a dozen thin strips from a 4" piece of black walnut. I was amazed. I have a 14" Delta that's in it's original configuration, setup, etc. I was really impressed with the outcome. His method is spot on.
P.S. Yeah, I know my shop is dirty. Get over it.

Very cool. I used his method on my 10" BS and it went from a tedious chore to use to something fun.

What really made a difference on my Rikon 10-325 was centering the gullet of the teeth on the BS tire instead of centering the blade on the tire.
        Alex knows his stuff.

Yep, Ken is exactly right. I have the Craftsman version of the Rikon 10" and centering the gullet made all the difference.

When I can get back to the shop I need to tune mine. Also thinking about buying a new resaw blade. Need to resaw some Mesquite for inlays in my '65 Chevy dash and hoping to find some burl.

I actually bookmarked Alex Snodgrass' bandsaw clinic video when I first saw it. It made all the difference for me in the use of my bandsaw. I've watched it a number of times and I recommended it whenever someone mentions they are buying their first bandsaw.
