    Angle Finder

I picked up one of these at a flea market for $1, to try out. Surprisingly it's very accurate. It reads the same as a digital gauge. Anyone else have one of these?

Not like that one, but I have a 2' angle finder which is a Godsend for crown. Its two plastic kegs that slide past each other, where they pivot is the scale in degrees.
I think in straight lines, but dream in curves

I have one made by Johnson (?) - an orange one. I've used it quite a bit and checked it with a digital inclinometer type and it seems to be very accurate (or they're both wrong ).

I have an old Craftsman, that I inherited from my FIL. It's a bit smaller. I also have an Empire, or at least I think that is the brand. As I recall, it was a present, coming from either Lowes or Home Depot.

I've only used them a couple of times, once for determining incline on a stairway that I had to replace. I think for me, it looked like a tool that would be handy and therefore a necessary addition, but I haven't found much need for it... Yet.

I have one like it, but made by a different company. I've used it for years. There is another model that measures roof pitch.
