I agree with Pelligrini, the one that Tommy posted looks a lot(!) more user friendly.

      Delta band saw mill

I have two of these machines and a recently acquired, and highly coveted manual which I am willing to share with anyone who needs help. I got nowhere with Delta, but found a machine for 200 bucks and the guy who sold it to me had the manual. Delta manual says 1 1/2 or 2 inch blades. But I'm going to try 1/1/4 woodmizer blades. Any thoughts or comments on this would be welcome. Thanks, johnboat email fritter@tds.net. A lot easier than trying to keep up with and decipher this forum stuff!

Blades were already on order and they showed up yesterday. Today I'm going to run it over some maple I cut down in the yard and see what happens. Stay tuned..

Any chance you might share that PDF file please? I have one of these Delta mills that my now deceased father in law had and want to find out firstly if I've found all the parts in his barn, and secondly how to use it.

        Thanks!!

Welcome to the clan Roger. Hope you stick around for the rest of the site and do post some pics of what you end up milling when you get her fired up ;-)
