Some of you may remember, but last year a neighbor gave me two old woodworking tools from her father. A toro lathe and and toro 4 inch joiner.
Well, I finally got around to fixing up the joiner, as I didn't have one before, and low and behold some parts are missing.
I've done some research and found that this particular model is actually a tomlee model (which toro took over and made ww machines for a few years). Seen here. It has a toro name plate, but the style is certainly tomlee.
It's missing a knife wedge, knife and a metal "shim". It's a three knife unit, so I have basically, 2 out of three.
Other than the knife, does anyone have a good source for finding a wedge and shim? The part is pretty simple, so I could probably machine it.
