    Bandsaw set up

I watched this video today and learned a few things so thought I would pass it around. Its rather long, 35 mins but I thought well worth the time. I did order the stabilizer by the way but got it on ebay for half the price and still new in the package.

Spot on. I watched that video a few months back, did the set-up his way and got great results. Oddly, the original tires on my Ridgid 14" were not glued down, and i threw the lower a few weeks ago. Finally got around to picking up a pair of urathane tires (made by SG Tools bought locally for $10 more than they sell them direct for on e-Bay...different story). Put them on last night, replaced the 6 tooth blade that came with my HF riser kit with a 3 tooth hook from Olson (purchased locally same store for $12--for the All Pro 105"--made up for the tire price i think). Again, did the Snodgrass on her--ripped a 4' 4 x 4 to within 1/128" down the full length. Happy.
