There will be some who
will condemn this device, but I'm like that one poster wrote, "Shut up and take my money!!!" LOL It takes a lot of the danger out of the TS. Not all, but still enough to warrant the need for these clamps. Thanks for sharing that site with us. -
Looks pretty cool to me as well, unfortunately I have a granite topped table and while the steel fence would be easy enough to implement I find the cost high when compared to these which basically do the same thing , http://woodworker.com/fullpres.asp?P...4&LARGEVIEW=ONComment

While I think those are quite cool and fairly easy to use, I can tell you that most guys prefer to set the blade and cut if that much.
If you value good safety and take the time to always implement it, then these would be a cost effective aid. Both the links in this thread show good products. While I haven't used either, I have seen both in person.
Both are well made.
Something I do see in the video though is that he doesn't seem to have very good control on how well the stock rides the fence.
Maybe it was just his feed speed, but that did not look accurate.
Maybe the roller type they sell would be better?
I haven't seen those.LeeComment

I would consider using those rollers, especially on the router table. If it eliminates chatter as he says, I would be a happy guy. I use feather boards but sometimes (more oftern than I like) I still have to make multiple passes to remove the chatter.

I like that better than having to crank down on the nuts holding my feather board in place. My only criticism is that there's no dust control on top of the table, but I guess my stock guard doesn't provide it either. I still like using a splitter and pawls, though.Comment
