    Milwaukee ROS

Well that is what I bought after the advice I got from you all. It is variable speed and 5in. @ 3amp.
I was pleasantly surprised at the quick shipping. Bought it new from Ebay Monday evening and UPS had it on my porch Wed. evening.

I had 4 cabinet doors to sand and finish this afternoon and it did a much better and quicker job than the finish sander. I started with 80 grit, then 100 and finished with 220. The speed and results of the ROS are amazing to me.
The dust control was also very good.

    Thanks for all the advice,

You will love switching over to a ROS. One of the tests that they do with ROS's is to test them on plexiglass to see which ones have the straightest scratch pattern. That was the last thing that changed me over from the old finish (pad) sanders.
