If it's in good condition, I think $200 is fair. It's a very nice planer, and what I'd get if I didn't pick up a Ryobi on clearance + HF Coupon.

Bought off eBay, $200 would be right at my upper limit, maybe a little beyond. Bought locally, where I could inspect it myself and verify it's in good order, $200 would be a fair (but not outstanding) price.

That's in the general ballpark of 50% less than a NIB one would go for. $200 certainly wouldn't be paying to much for it but that price would be nowhere near a gloat worthy price.

I bought my 734 brand new from Amazon.com for Less than $250, shipping included. They will be on sale again if you can wait.
