My enhanced off switch for my Griz TS

This is something I've been meaning to do for years. On some cuts, I want to
keep both hands on the piece at all times. Turning off the saw becomes a
little tricky. Several people on the net have made one form of these or
another. It's really simple to build. All from scrap ply, some hinges I keep
handy, a sheet of 3/16" plexi I got from work. I chose plexi instead of ply
because I still like to see the switch, but not necessary.

The piece of ply is screwed to the underside of my front rail through 2 existing
    holes.

A piece of plexi is attached to the ply by 2 hinges. It just hangs free. A
hole is drilled over the ON switch. The whole plexi is now a paddle that touches
the OFF switch. I can hit it blindly or bump it with my knee to turn off the
saw. I feel much safer now.

I like that. I need to do the same thing with my BT3. Only problem is the switch is in the original location making it hard to assemble something like you have done.

    Good job.
