Adapt Bosch outfeed support to BT3100?

I was able to get the dimensions from a Bosch T4100:
1) 1 3/4" table thickness (surface to end of threaded boss)
2) 23" width between mounting holes for sleeves
3) 5" between mounting holes on each sleeve

So this is - shockingly - not a drop-in fit to the BT3100. But it may be pretty easy to adapt.

Have you emailed Bosch directly?

This snip from the PDF (Link) shows that the rod ends are bolted to the outfeed support (instead of welded), so the width should be easy to customize with one drilled hole. I'm also thinking about bolting the sleeves to the side of the BT's case (instead of under the table). I think this would simplify mounting and be very sturdy.

That Bosch item is intriguing. Not a bad price if it will fit. It would be good for light duty support, without much setup. Have you emailed Bosch directly?

I have two of the Ridgid stands and use them frequently. However for small jobs I find that I often skip setting them up (another thing to schlep out of the garage, reset the height, avoid interference with the DC hose, etc.). I don't have a shop. I have a driveway...

Also you might look at the outfeed tables people have made here. Some of them use things like hollow core doors (design one based on that).

I've seen lots of other outfeed ideas, and could make something myself. And if I can't adapt the Bosch, then I probably will. However the Bosch design is *extremely* portable, sturdy and trivially easy to open/close. And with gas at $4/gal, $30 (delivered) is not very much compared to several trips to the BORG.

So I'm still interested in answers to my original question.

So this bracket is $30? Same price as Ridgid flip top stand (that is also portable). What about a couple of dowels that slide into some tubes mounted to the saw, and a half a tube across them, so the wood slides over?

I keep my BT3100 on a very mobile base (the Bosch gravity-rise stand), and this looks like it would be simpler and faster than setting-up a separate stand for small jobs. It also could supplement a separate stand for bigger jobs and minimize droop.

If any of you have this outfeed support, I'd just need two dimensions to know if this is feasible:
1) The distance from the top of the brackets to the top of the rear outfeed (IOW, how thick is the 4100 top)
2) The distance between the two mounting bracket holes (the long dimension between rails, *not* the short dimension within one bracket).

I'm sure I could make something equivalent, but probably not for less than $30...
