HF doesn't sell Elect Motors anymore?

I remember seeing electric motors of various sizes on HF's web site before, but I was looking a few minutes ago and could not get anything to come up.

Is HF slimming down their product line? I can understand changing a line of motors but doing away with them altogether seems rather drastic - considering their sales segment targets, and what they sell in general.

Anyway, I was looking for a replacement small attic fan motor as I didn't want to buy a whole new unit when all I need is probably 1/5 or 1/10 hp motor. I didn't think they would have anything like I needed but I thought it was worth a try. I was surprised to find that no motors are sold, except as ordering one as a part no as a replacement to a specific tool. (And I was hoping for an excuse to go to HF 50 miles away in Memphis.)

Hank, it was probably a good move for them. I bought two motors from them of different sizes. Both failed quickly.
I now buy all my motors from Surplus Center. Good pricing, selection and fast shipping. All I have bought from them are brand new and American made. Hard to beat.

Thanks! This helps a lot - for other motor needs as well!

The online store seems to have slimmed down in the past few years. I blame it on the owner/grandson who supposedly put the company into hundreds of $millions of debt. The local store seems fully stocked though.
