Anyone have any experience with this thing? I'm looking to replace my workmate and it's 30 bucks cheaper at Lowes then Amazon

I don't have any experiance with it. There's some info in this older Bargan Alerts thread. http://www.bt3central.com/showthread.php?t=52352

I'm not sure if I would pay $170 for one though. I considered getting one for that black friday price.

I have one and love it. You can still get them at Big Lots for ~$80.

        For $80 - maybe. For $170 - I'll pass.

Wonder what the cost and availability of all the accessories is?

Edit: Just looked on Amazon. $30 - $70 a pop for the accessories.

I got one for the BF price. I wouldn't pay much more than that.

It's really heavy, but the weight is in the frame and not the top. The two halves of the top don't line up on my model. Also the insert for the accessories isn't flat. A table top that isn't flat often a pain to use. My bench is usually used more like a table than a workbench.

They don't appear on the Big Lots web page. I'll try visiting my local store and see if they have one. Which store were you at?

I've seen them at a couple NW OH BL's recently. The boxes are pretty beat up, but mine was too, and it was fine.

                Thanks!

Found one at our local Big Lots; nothing like face to face searching instead of depending on web or phone.

Box slightly dinged; table in fine shape. Looks like a fine addition to the shop.
